The Elitizmr Logos
I’ve really been procrastinating on the Elitizmr logo and design. I tried to get an friend who shall remainn nameless to do a logo, but I don’t think he’s had much time for it. So, I finally made a logo myself.
I’m really no good with Photoshop, so I had to learn a few things to make the logo. Actually, I made quite a few logos. So, first I started thinking that since Elitizmr is a site about the Web 2.0 Elite, I better make the logo Web 2.0-ish. I searched for ideas and found The Logos of Web 2.0. So, I had some ideas about fonts and such. I ended up choosing the Bauhaus 93 font, which is similar to the Newsgator font. Next, I found the Web 2.0 Colour Palette. From it I chose Wink Dark, Meebo Blue, Basecamp Green, and Slashdot Grey. Finally, I noticed that quite a few Web 2.0 sites have beta or gamma in their logos, ala Flickr. I then decided to have logos using the Greek alphabet. Put it all together, and you have the new Elitizmr logos.
